South-of-the-Border Salsa

Serves 12 (1/4 C each)

2 C chopped fresh tomatoes
1 can (4 oz) green chilies, diced
2 scallions, chopped
1/2 tsp dried oregano
2 T chopped cilantro
1/4 tsp garlic powder
Dash of Tabasco sauce

Mix all ingredients well. Drain well, squeezing out juice from tomatoes with a spoon or potato masher. Cover and chill overnight to allow flavors to blend.
