Coffee-Almond Milkshake

Serves 1

8 to 12 ice cubes
1 C very cold water
1 C skim milk
1/2 tsp instant coffee (or to taste)
1/4 tsp almond extract
2 tsp sugar

Buzz all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Serve immediately


  • Artificial sweetener may be substituted for the sugar.
  • Mocha Milkshake: Omit almond extract and add 1 to 2 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder, or to taste.
