Turkey Meatballs

Serves 4

1 lb ground turkey breast
1/8 C chopped green pepper
1/8 C chopped yellow onion
1/4 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp oregano

Mix all ingredients well, handling lightly. Form into 8 balls and place on a cookie sheet. Bake at 325° for 15 to 20 minutes.


  • To make uniform meatballs, shape the meat into a roll of the correct diameter. Cut slices that are as long as the diameter is wide (for example, cut a 1-inch roll into 1-inch slices). Alternatively, pat the meat into a square and then cut it into cubes (for example, cut a 1-inch thick square into 1-inch cubes). Gently roll the pieces between the palms of your hands to make smooth balls.
  • Simmer with Spaghetti Sauce or Double Red Sauce and serve over pasta.
