Savory Whitefish

Serves 6

1/4 C Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 Mustard
1 T low-sodium soy sauce
1 T grapefruit juice
1/2 C dry white wine
1-1/2 1b whitefish fillets
12 very thin slices of lemon
6 parsley sprigs
2 T sesame seeds, toasted

Combine mustard, soy sauce, grapefruit juice, and wine. Pour over fish and marinate, covered, in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 hours. Arrange fillets on a broiler pan. Broil for about 10 minutes, turning once during cooking. Transfer fish to a serving platter. Garnish with lemon slices, parsley, and sesame seeds.


  • A spicy or mild brown mustard may be substituted for the Jack Daniel’s brand.
