Orange Sauce*
Serving size: 1 T
2 C sugar
2 C white wine
Grated rind and juice of 2 oranges
In a nonreactive pot, combine the sugar, white wine, orange juice, and orange rind. Bring to a boil, lower heat, and simmer until reduced to about 3/4 C. It will resemble thin maple syrup. Strain out the orange rind. Serve warm with Toasted Ginger-Cardamom Angel Food Cake.
