Spiced Shrimp

Serves 4

1 1b cooked and cleaned shrimp
1 T olive oil
1 C vinegar
2 T water
1/2 C red onion, sliced paper-thin
1 to 2 whole cloves
1 bay leaf
Dash of Tabasco
1 tsp sugar

Toss shrimp in olive oil. Bring remaining ingredients to a boil and pour over shrimp. Chill for 24 hours before serving.
